Privacy Policy
TycoonDesk Australia is published by Jack Wilson, a private individual in New South Wales. The site sells nothing and runs no advertising, which makes this policy shorter than most. It follows the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
Reading the site
Browsing these pages does not create an account, a profile or a record tied to you. There is no contact form, no sign-up, no comment system, no tracking pixel and no third-party script of any kind. One small JavaScript file runs, and all it does is open the menu and remember whether you dismissed the cookie banner.
If you write to [email protected], the message and the address it came from arrive in a mailbox on this domain. They are used to answer you and for nothing else — no list, no newsletter, no sharing with a publisher or an agency. Correspondence is kept while it is still useful, at most two years, and then removed. The mailbox is operated by the hosting provider for the domain; no bot, CRM or automation is connected to it.
Hosting records
Like any web server, the host writes access logs: the requesting IP address, timestamp, file requested and browser identification string. Those records exist for security and troubleshooting, are held for a short period by the provider, and are not linked to anything else or used for profiling.
What you can ask for
You may ask whether we hold correspondence from you, request a copy of it, have it corrected, or have it deleted. One email is enough, and we confirm in writing when it is done. Complaints about how this site handles personal information can go to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, and you do not need to go through us first.
Overseas transfers
No personal information is deliberately sent overseas. Email may be stored on servers outside Australia by the hosting provider; that is the extent of it, and no other third party receives anything.
Updates
If this site ever gains something that collects data — it has no plans to — this page changes before that feature goes live, with a new date at the top.
